Buying a rifle online in Maryland

Bolt, lever, pump, single-shot and rimfire rifles are ordinary long guns under Maryland law, not regulated firearms, so there is no purchase license for them. Your rifle still ships to a Maryland FFL dealer, who runs the federal background check at pickup. You must be 18 or older.
